I have many favorite menu items but I always have the cheese fries and a hot fudge shake. They take great care to make your order correctly. Everything is made to order so the food is hot and fresh. I’ve been going to 5 Points for 24 years and have never been disappointed.

The reason I have been going to 5 Points for 30 years is the friendly service and that it is family owned and operated. I always enjoy having lunch there. I personally like the Italian Beef and the Chicken dinner. The fries are the greatest. The food is always hot and fresh and the place is clean and safe.

I have been eating at 5 Points for over a year now. I work at the Veterans Hospital in North Chicago. What has kept me coming back is the homemade food. I even buy the pulled pork sandwiches 3 at a time to take home to have at night for dinner. My wife loves the soup in the winter months. In the summer months it is nice to sit outside.

I have been going to 5 Points for the past 21 years – as long as I’ve worked at the Great Lakes Naval Station. I would have to say they have the best chicken in the tri-state area. My other favorites are the salads, especially the grilled chicken with Caesar dressing. The pulled pork sandwich is to die for. – great flavor and a generous portion. The service is fantastic – you’re in and out in no time. I would recommend 5 Points to anyone who wants great food and fast service. After I retire, I will come from Wisconsin – it will be worth the drive!

Great soups, outstanding gyros and fries. Great deals as well! $2.22 for a hot dog and fries on Sunday – that’s recession friendly. Huge selection, super nice place and have you seen their bathrooms – as clean as it gets.

I miss this place! I used to go to 5 Points while I was in “A” and “C” school way back in 91-93. I still remember their burgers and fries. I will go back one day and enjoy that “heart attack” waiting to happen. And the shakes – WOW – and the great fully loaded hot dogs. Why can’t we have a place like that here in California!

We have been coming to 5 Points every weekend and each time we are not let down on having a great, quality meal. Each time we leave, we cannot wait to come back again. The restaurant has a nice “down home” feel to it and the food is delicious. There are so many menu choices and the milkshakes and sundaes are great! At 5 Points you get more for your money. It was one of the first places we ate at when we moved to the Great Lakes area a couple months ago. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. We were stuffed before we were half finished. This was an excellent introduction to local dining.
